SCOPE OF WORK:
The five star hotel and office complex is located on a 40-acre site nestled between the Palm Garden Golf Resorts and the tropical rain forests of Bukit Bisa.
The 500-room hotel rising to 13-storey high will boast of luxurious facilities and the latest state-of-the-art features in the hospitality industry to meet the growing number of tourists and foreign dignitaries visiting the new administrative capital of Putra Jaya.
The adjacent twin tower office complex, also 13-storey high, will share the same podium as the hotel and will be supported by modern building technology incorporating the "intelligent building" concept. It will have its own multi-level carpak complex separated from the hotel car park.
LTE ENGINEERS has been appointed as the civil and structural cnsultants for the above project. The project currently at design stage will require a temporary retaining wall system and possibly ground anchors for the construction of the multi-level basement. Bored piles will be utilized for the foundation due to the shallowness of the hard shale stratum. This will also meet the noise level constraint for the area. The building structural system will be based on conventional insitu beam-slab-column system whilst the basement will consist of flat slab system.
